Mariah Carey’s sister’s last wish was to’reconnect’ with her famous sibling.

Reportedly, Mariah Carey’s sister, who had been estranged from her sister and passed away this week, had hoped to make amends with her sister before she passed away.

This weekend, Mariah, who is 55 years old, was confronted with some heartbreaking information when it was disclosed that her sister Alison Carey, who is 63 years old, and her mother Patricia, who is 87 years old, both passed away on the same day, August 25.
Sadly, it has come to light that Carey had a desire to be reunited with her famous sister before she passed away. This information has been disclosed as her passing has been publicized.

“I know it was her dying wish if she could have at least had a conversation with Mariah,” David Baker, a friend of Carey’s and a healthcare expert, said in an interview with the Mail Online.

Mariah Carey’s sister’s last wish was to’reconnect’ with her famous sibling.

The singer made the announcement of the deaths in a statement that she provided to PA. In the statement, she added, “My heart is broken that I’ve lost my mother this past weekend.”An unfortunate sequence of events resulted in the loss of my sister’s life on the same day, which is a sad occasion.

I count it as a blessing that I was able to spend the final week of my mother’s life with her before she died away. I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their love and support, as well as for respecting my privacy at this difficult time.
Several years ago, the sisters disagreed, and in her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey, which will be published in 2020, the Fantasy singer referred to Carey as her “ex-sister.”

“My therapist encouraged me to rename and reframe my family to save my sanity and give me peace of mind,” Both Morgan, my former brother, and Alison, my former sister…
I was forced to let go of the expectation that they would one day mysteriously transform into the big brother and big sister that I had imagined they would be.

The next thing that Mariah did was explain that her therapist had suggested that she sever all ties with Carey and her brother Morgan Carey, who is 64 years old.

To avoid being harmed by them, I had to quit making myself available to them. It has been of assistance. I am certain that it is both emotionally and physically safer for me to avoid having any contact with my ex-brother and ex-sister,’ she added. “I do not doubt this.”
Baker stated that the release of the book was difficult for Carey, saying, “It came as a shock because Mariah referred to Alison as her former sister.” When Mariah was younger, [Alison] would watch her and take care of her.

“When that came out, she couldn’t believe that Mariah had done that because she had already stopped talking to her, but then she kicked Alison in the teeth while she was already down,” the speaker said.
In the same memoir that will be published in 2020, Mariah asserted that her sister Alison drugged her and attempted to sell her out to a pimp. She stated, “When I was 12 years old, my sister drugged me with Valium, offered me a pinky nail full of cocaine, and tried to sell me out to a pimp.”

In the year 2021, Carey filed a lawsuit against Mariah, claiming that the revelations in her memoir had caused her “emotional distress.” In a legal document, it was said that Carey stated that the allegations were made with the intention of “humiliating and embarrassing.”
The singer was also accused of using “her status as a public figure to attack her penniless sister, generating sensational headlines describing her lurid claims to promote sales of her book.” Both of these allegations were made to promote the singer’s book.

The legal struggle had not yet been resolved before Carey’s passing away. “According to court records obtained by In Touch, the case brought by Alison in 2021 never went anywhere after her initial filing,” an article published by InTouch stated.
