With her two children, Mariah Carey is spreading Christmas cheer right to the national capital.
54-year-old Queen of Christmas on Wednesday posted pictures on Instagram of her visit to the White House accompanied by her 12-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe. The three-person family could be seen conversing with President Biden in the Oval Office, Moroccan positioned on one side while Monroe held hands with her mother on the other.
Carefully standing with her three children in front of a Christmas tree, Carey also visited Vice President Harris and saw the White House’s Christmas decorations.
“Last week I had the delight of ringing in the holidays by seeing President Biden and Vice President Harris at the White House! We saw all the Christmas décor and cheered some while there! 🎄❄️ ☃️ Carey captioned her image.
Carey shares her twins with 43-year-old former spouse Nick Cannon.
Moroccan and Monroe, two very significant persons in her life, presented the singer the Chart Achievement Award for her famous holiday song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards in November.
Carey was joined on stage by her two children, who maintained on holiday theme in red and white as they stood next to their mother, sporting white zip-up dresses and white knee-length boots. “I couldn’t demand better presenters than Roc and Roe. Before she started her award speech, Carey thanked her twins, “Thanks, you guys.”
Carey’s children chatted with their mother before the trio left the stage, so at the end of her speech she got kisses on her cheek from both of them.
Following the well-known family’s visit to the Hollywood Bowl to attend Carey’s Merry Christmas One and All! event, the musician and her daughter Monroe posed with Kardashian clan members the same month.
To witness Carey’s act, Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian accompanied their daughters Chicago and True, all 5½, North, 10, and Dream, 7, and mom Kris Jenner, 68.
