At the beginning of her piece, Grande wrote, “I am unable to believe the words that I am typing.” “Yes, and what about? It is this coming Friday that the remix featuring the one and only, queen of my heart, and inspiration for the rest of my life, @mariahcarey, will be released.
She continued by saying, “Undoubtedly, there are no words that are adequate.” Thank you from the depths of my heart for making my dream come true and for sprinkling your brilliance and magic on my little song, @mariahcarey. I am truly grateful. Congratulations! It means more to me than I could ever hope to be able to express, and I cannot wait for everyone to hear what I have to say about it!” Until the end of time, I will love you!!!!

A prior collaboration between Carey and Grande resulted in the publication of Carey’s rendition of “Oh Santa!,” which also included Jennifer Hudson. This version was published during the holiday season in the year 2020 and was included in her “Magical Christmas Special” release the same year.

The first time that Grande openly proclaimed her affection for Carey was in the description of her version of Carey’s song “Emotions” in 2012. Since then, Grande has acknowledged her affection for Carey by referring to her as a “idol and inspiration.”

The lead song for Ariana Grande’s forthcoming seventh studio album, titled “Eternal Sunshine,” is titled “Yes, And?” and is scheduled to be released on March 8th. After the song was released in January, it quickly rose to the top of the Hot 100 Songs chart on Billboard. This achievement made Grande the first artist in the history of the Hot 100 to debut in the top 10 of the chart with the lead single from each of her seven albums. It is certain that the song will receive a boost now that Carey is a part of the mix.
