David Baker, the deceased person’s friend and healthcare proxy, stated to DailyMail.com that she longed for her sister’s love and care, even though it was well-known that Mariah and Alison had a strained relationship. Even though Mariah was aware of her sibling’s medical condition, she chose not to communicate with her sibling regarding the fact that she had been receiving hospice care for the past month. “Alison was hurt by the way that her mother and Mariah treated her, but she always had mixed feelings about her mother,” David said. “Alison’s mother was a complicated figure for her.” On the other hand, I am aware that it was her final wish that she could have at least had a talk with Mariah as possible.

“Mariah has never made an effort to get in touch with Alison, even after she was informed a month ago that Alison was taking her own life,” he continued. Alison would have appreciated it tremendously if she had received a phone call or, even better, a video call. However, it never appears. Meanwhile, Mariah is ‘heartbroken’ over the death of both her mother and her ‘ex’ sister. Adding insult to injury, that heartless rejection made Alison’s pain even worse.
